Finger Tight

Here’s what we know so far:
– steel is very heavy
– the posts are made of steel
– a crane was needed to lift and move each post
– the posts are very tall, with most exceeding 6 metres

Here is a picture of how each post is initially secured to its mounting plate, while it awaits the installation of the beams it will support. With two nuts, one each on opposite corners. The remaining hardware (seen laying to the left of the post base) and proper torque will be applied once all the steel is installed and squared up.
