Well Grounded

We can easily be confused, and such was the case when we saw four 3 meter long stainless steel rods appear by the foundation for our power transformer. There was one rod located near each corner of the foundation. It looked like someone was planning to pitch a tent. Odd.

Later, we noticed a ladder that was used to climb to the top of each rod. There was also a large hammer that was used to drive each rod all the way into the ground. Odd.

Our minds raced to generate ideas of what these magical rods may accomplish. Then it all came together this week, as we saw that the rods will be used as (serious) grounds to help protect us from the (serious) electricity flowing through our, as yet to arrive, transformer. Interesting.
