Getting Colder

The temperature continues to fall at Das Build. It happens every year around this time, so we have grown to accept it as a seasonal disorder. Sadly, one of the unpleasant side effects is snow, and we received our first snowfall last week. It wasn’t much. In fact it’s hardly worth mentioning, except for a remarkably amusing event.

The morning there was snow on the ground when we arrived at Das Build was the same morning that door frames and exterior doors seemed to appear out of thin air. With a tremendous sense of urgency, this new hardware was installed in no time flat. Actually, installing these doors is a routine task for the trained professionals at Das Build, so of course they appeared to be installed quite rapidly.

But what do you think? Was the timing of the door installs following our first snowfall a simple coincidence? Either way, it makes an entertaining story.
